I know why they didn't keep their english names It's because their names were too close to the names of Corn. People often called Cress "Corn" instead of "Koon," so this was obvious for him, but there are actually two types of corn called pod corn and dent corn. ..I don't know if anyone would like that much corn. Even I, who enjoy corn (especially with butter) would die of corn poisoning (..such thing as that? Don't know.) with too much corn. :U

the dubbing stinks hard tho... They pronounce the japanese names so strangely and they even cut out some scenes like someone getting punched in the face cuz it's "inappropriate" that's y I always watch the japanese version with subtitles
