the sugarcube trio out on a scenic chore run! usually, instead of just walking straight back from the trains station (for party stuff) or local market (for food stuff) they'll take an offshoot road near apple acres and the forest, to the hill trail
i know in the last pic a while ago that i drew tempest with a full tail but i decided to have hers be injured as well from the attack (its not as bad as shining's though)
some notes on Pinkie + Cheese + Tempest

Pinkameena Diane Pie She/They/Him
Gets more into the baking side of her party planning job when Cheese moves in. The 'baking' part being how many fireworks, poprocks, and surprise dancers she can fit into cakes and pastries while it still being legal to be used inside buildings and edible. Cheese provides the goods. Tempest provides the ethics.
Was the first to bring the idea of a poly relationship..because she thought they were already doing that (they had been living together for about 3 years at that point; cosleeping, dates, being on each others insurance, the full nine yards.)
Designed their love rings with the help of her sisters
Can beat Tempest at arm wrestling, sometimes
Is one of the big spoons
Likes to style everyone's hair

Cheese Sandwich (prev. Hanky Diddle Jim) He/Her
Generational mule + pony hybrid. His grandpa on his Pop's side is a pony, while his grandma is a donkey. His Pop is a mule who married his Momma, a pony, so he's 1/2 mule or 1/4 donkey if we simplify the genetics real hard.
Donkeys (and Mules if they live in the culture) follow a name culture that includes modern English names in them. It's preferable in society to have at least one adjective or adverb related to 'diddying' (their cultural form of music) in their full name but it's not uncommon for there not to be one in the present. Their culture takes a lot of influence from the suburban to rural midwest, cheese and corn fields, because I think it's funny
When Cheese got his cutie mark he decided to take the name Cheese Sandwich. His birth name is still on official papers and whatever but he will always introduce & socialize as Cheese. Does not like it when you call him Jim.
His talent is show cooking meals with cheese in them (specifically grilled cheese) while simultaneously playing an accordion, but party planner is his job (and is more fun to him).
Introduced everyone to Drag.
Is kinda a small, spindly little guy (shorter than average)
Got a bloody nose from trying to impress Tempest by doing DIY construction on her quiet room by making it bigger (She's flattered but makes him lay down for 3 days after. They get cuddles though)
Has a tendency to wring himself into a hyper wired state and become a workaholic out of fear of failure (especially when he opens the gag factory)

Tempest Berrytwist (prev. Tempest Shadow, Fizzlepop Berrytwist) They/She
The grounding force of the trio, they make sure that the other two don't overthink themselves into a panic.
Sometimes has magic outbursts and migraines due to how poorly her horn healed. Usually leaves her out of commission for days, Cheese & Pinkie take turns helping them out.
Is a little anxious about exploring too many interests due to their lack of a cutie mark still, but has really gotten into writing space opera sci-fi!
Fluttershy and them share a butterfly colony/space back at the sanctuary
Her winter-wrap up job is waking the animals
Doesn't train as often as they did while with the Storm King, but still keeps a buff regime
Tries to carry all of the grocery bags in one trip
