A new day is dawningBirds chirping, squirels gnawing
People going their merry way
Always finding the time to say "Hey!"
So many things that I can give
Please God, let me live.
The sun is now high in the sky
Everyone is nice to each other, even to the fly
Work is no hard task today
Everyone still goes on there merry way.
Still, so many things to give
Please God, let me live.
The sun has now been put to rest for the day
People have now gone a violent way
Left and right, people are killing and stealing
Absolutly no room for caring and/or feeling
Even good neighbors don't care for pie
So, is the good life just a lie?
If so, please God, let me die.
