Banjo is loud like his momma Vinyl but unlike her he has a love for more acoustic music, specifically country music. He loves old westerny music about shoot outs at the old corral. When its his turn to pick movies for movie nights you better believe he picked himself out some old western classic that he knows all the lines too and puts the rest of the family to sleep.

Banjo loves living in ponyville and often spends time at his aunt Fiddly Twang across town and has taken banjo lessons from her from an early age. She's the only pony who shares his interest int he family and their best friends for it.
Sometimes Banjo gets to go along with her to her shows, where she is often hired to play for apple family parties at sweet apple acres, Banjo has made p good friends with the apple family kiddos, closest in age with Highlights and Gilded Orchard.
