Okay, so I was browsing the galleries on DevA some years back and stumbled across a number of drawings which had been put up so that artists could try coloring someone else's work. I decided to download some of the drawings and give it a try, but I never got around to actually doing it. Then, yesterday, I was a bit bored and decided to look through my image folders on my PC and then I found some of those pictures again. I decided to give it a try, in order to actually get something creative done, outside of school.

I really loved the lineart for it's simplicity and the fact that there is still a lot of details to play with. It is nearly done. The skin needs shading and I need to put down the colors and shading on the umbrella as well, but it shouldn't be too difficult. I might add a few effects afterwards, but that's not something I've made my mind up about, yet.

So, what do you guys think about the different things in the image so far?

UPDATE: Now all there's left to do is to color the umbrella and fix a few lines
