Interesting! You know i've always wondered how this type of technique is done. The one where you draw all of the shading and tones in black and white first and then use, a multiply layer i'm assuming, to get the color. I've tried it in the past but it didn't turn out so well. But looking at this process drawing is really helpful. Thank you for sharing!

Very cool, I think your shading is super awesome : 3 one thing I may point out, however, something about the details in the face, maybe it's too much shadow in certain areas, but she looks quite old. I don't know if that's your intention with it, in which case simply ignore me, but I think the detail actually should to be toned back in a few places(under the eyes, the dimple in her cheek). Nevertheless, fantastic job your work is very interesting and well done.
