So, I don't really play Animal Crossing much, but this was inspired by a few things. First of all, I am IN LOVE with Stupendium's new song, Nook Line and Sinker.
Secondly, well, I read the People who Euthanize Thousands of Animals' dumb article about how to be a "real" vegan when playing Animal Crossing. One of the things they said is that we should cut Nook some slack because people can be cruel to Tanookis in real life, and Lord knows we should judge video game characters' morality my how endangered their real life counterparts are, and all I could think of was how well that excuse would fit into the Evil Nook AU. And, honestly, few things bring me so much petty joy as celebrating something hated by a hypocritical organization that works so hard to try to undo the amazing work of so many animal rescues.
