The Amazonian years are 1.666 earth years. Meaning a 80 year avg life span for a amazon is 133 years and 28 days. They grow up fairly fast, by the time they are 16 amazon years old they are sent out into the Galaxy to experience other cultures and governments. As peace keepers of the Galaxy they are required to understand as much about other cultures and how to diplomatically deal with them. An ancient ideal, which at one time had a valid use. Over the years how ever it has become less and less the mission and more self desire. Amazons have strong emotions that they are taught to suppress for military reasons, but citizens of the Galaxy fall in love with these envoys and the amazon often reciprocates that love. Until the mother land calls them home to Draconious B when they are conscripted into the Amazonian Guard and given permanent positions.
The Mother land is the capital city of Draconious B, indistinguishable from the other cities as the planet is so dense with structure and history its buildings touch the very tip of space. No natural light ever touches the ground anymore, along with most of the Amazonian people.
