AWESOME. how did you get that crazy "sandpapered" look to it? did you use some abrasive after you painted it?

After I'm done with my pieces, I ususally use Matte medium as a finish. I think the sandpaper/grain look was created from the combination of scanning the piece and the canvas texture. I'm gonna get a high res photo shot of the piece to minus the grain look. Better for reproduction material and such.

cool thanks for sharing! do you just put matte medium over the painting like a varnish? or do you mix it in the paint on the last layer? You should put the high res photo shot or at least some details up so we can see what its like!
