my happy dandelions n_n
this is a sculpture i did many many years ago... 2003 i believe....
the entire piece is about 2.3' tall... and it may actually have that many seeds in it.

the piece is made of wire, some type of synthetic material (netting?), various papers (the stalk & leaves) and some foam insulation (the expanding stuff from a can).
it took quite a long time to make, but it was in mostly in the making of the seeds. each piece of cloth was individually wrapped w/wire then put into the head of the dandelion (foam)...

if you are looking at this, sorry for the non-professional photo (these are in my room >.< ) but if i get of my lazy ass i'll do a better job and submit these as an actual deviation... for now photoshopped letters for you!
