I think the feelings are self-love, anger and hurt.

Like so many words scratching to escape from my mind, yet I hold back. When I don't itch it it feels like pins and needles all over my body. Whenever I speak it, I molt and turn into this gross looking bird, I want to scratch and scratch until I bleed and I feel satisfied, but don't look at me as I spill all of these feelings because I feel so ugly and you have no right to look at me as I molt.

But when my feathers are fresh and new, I want to fling them in the air all over you, look at what you made me do, now you have to pick it up but I still want to throw more. I want to show that I am angry at you and I want to pluck all of your feathers and throw them away like you do to mine. But there's no point with you, is there? You say there is but there never really is. I like my feathers but I don't like yours, I want to have my own feathers and walk away. I don't like counting on you at all. You're pathetic to me. You're everything I want to avoid and more. I fear becoming something I am so dramatically disappointed in.

I want to become a beautiful peacock and one day when I can escape the cage I allow others to put me in, I can open that cage and let these harsh feelings fly away, as I deserve to be free and not feel so despicable.

Now this not for a certain bird, this is for multiple birds.
