History:
Bayi is named for one of her ancestors. Also the first daughter to king Dijiman of the Eastlands, she is nearly grown when her mother brings up a desire to visit her homeland, after hearing from a messenger bird that it was under a new ruler.
Excited for the adventure, Bayi accompanies her mother and siblings to the land, and is awestruck by the Pridelands. Bayi is delighted with the land and her newfound family, and returns to the Eastlands only to give her father the courtesy notification that she’s moving there. She becomes an ordinary lioness there, and finds delight in simple living. While others might have had issue with this, considering she is both born a Princess and has a direct bloodline to First King Kapam, she dismisses her right to a leisurely lifestyle. As an older adult, she tries to journey back to her father's land to present her first litter of cubs, but finds the pride was disbanded.
For weeks she searches, until a dry season forces her to look at her children and see they’re suffering from the lack of resources in her birth land. Returning to the Pridelands, she is welcomed by Queen Tia who is delighted to have another family member in the pride.
She leads several hunts, one which goes badly. After the hunt takes her sight, Bayi spends her days sunning and listening for the children around her, telling stories of her youth as others had passed down before her.
