In this case the Meramec. But when autumn begins to creep in with the cool morning and where there's ample humidity, most bodies of water should have mist rising from them.

This has been the wettest year on record here. Just last week the weather person said we were 16+ inches over the average. We're having pretty good weather now, maybe as a reward for suffering through the rain and floods earlier in the year. Hope you see the sun soon.

It has over here as well, Morpeth, in the North of England, had over a month's rainfall in under 24hrs causing heavy flooding, 100s of homes inundated.

In a local nature magazine, in the mid '80s, I wrote about this happening because of what we were doing. No one took any notice, I was even pilloried in the local paper as a scaremonger. Strangely enough, the title of the article was "Environment v Economy" To me it looks like the environment is winning
