This one's for my buddy as he so kindly asked to see some of the prelim work to Eclipse AND because he's done such a good job of evolving her in his commissions! A mahoosive thanks to for this commission, it was a blast. I really enjoyed creating the character from start to finish, having no idea what to make her look like and then reaching the end result was a cool experience. Seems like ages ago now!

This pic shows the different ideas we came up with before settling on the final one, which as in all good stories (and comics) is still evolving. I didn't even know what to call her at first so when I came up with the suggestion for Eclipse we went with the 'E' motif in the centre of the uniform and the lines emanating outwards are to signify growth, the whole kind of 'rising from within' thing.
