thats not spotlight, its an icon for alfred which Β is why the icon is purple instead of blue.

hmmm. I"ll give a shot
i think that since it already resembles the yosemite quicktime icon i'll probably do one in that style and another using yosemite's circle icons for inspiration. Sound good?!

Someone did an mplayerx icon for yosemite and it looks really good(www.deviantart.com/art/OS-X-Yo⦠think the challenge here for you is how to do one that differs from the mplayerx icon and still makes it yosemity
