Step-by-step of how me and =Enaxn worked on this collab!
1. I sketch the commission out, send it to the commissioner for approval, then send it to =Enaxn for colouring!
2. =Enaxn colours the character, adds a background concept/colour palette for me to work with, then sends it back to me.***
Check out the awesome! <3 I love how she colours eyes and hair. ;__; Also, the colours she chose for this just inspired me so much. I had to get to work straight away! XD
3. I enhance the character's shading to make it fit with the lighting. Also, I start to work on the foreground tree, figuring out the placement of the cherry blossoms!
Also refined the character like smoothing the shading and adding more pink highlights! Basically, I neatened everything up! XD
4. Finished the tree trunk in the foreground and started to map out the composition for the rest of the background. (Flat grass is flat!)
At this point I also added in falling petals and also adjusted the saturation levels of the character!
5. All finished now!
***Obviously =Enaxn did the same amount of work as me - I just don't have any WIP screenshots from her! XD
