Description One of the first fractals I ever submitted here at deviantArt was entitled Tesla's Jukebox

It seems to be the one that attracts the most attention, gets the most looks and favs....I have tried the same type of fractal without obtaining the same results...tried the same gradient, without the same results...and then I got to thinking...maybe it's the name...so, without further ado...here's another modern appliance that Nikola never would have really used...

It's very "electric" looking ...like if there was an under current making the fractal look far from static. It's very beautiful.

This one is nice, but it doesn't have the *zing* Teslas Jukebox does. My first really big fractal.. *Firefall*...has over 71,000 downloads at WC....not sure what it has here, but it has also been one of the most ripped off of my fractals. I believe it is more than half the color scheme... orange, red, gold,black....and then the blues ...these seem to be the most popular for fractal wallpapers...then the title, catchy titles....just my thoughts, no poll was taken, or road kill eaten!!

Fractals need catchy names so the non-fractal sorts can accidentally find them. Hell, Creation, Metropolis and probably others seem to continue to bring in faves

Aye, DBR...I have noticed the trend...and have tried to name the fractals artistically...however, all of those words are so..."overdone"
