Mind that not even the Japanese creators think that way. If the current style started with Tezuka loving Disney then for sure the next wave can start with the world loving what came out of Tezuka. Its how reality works.
Not like they claim some Japanese artist "impure" because they like Hellboy. I sure see a lot of Chrono Crusade fans out there.
Bashing American VA's is also very stupid. They are cool cats and people like David Kaye are responsible for some of the best dubs out there.
Its unfair to blame them for the rushjobs and hacks when there are good work out there.
