This artwork features a body type that considered to be unconventional in societal standards of beauty. Cadence, a name defined as " rhythmic " or "flowing " but can also meant as "falling". Potential is not a set value based our physical, mental, or psychological but our attitude on pursuing greatness. Hindrance is lived differently among people and assumed to be restraining or limiting to our fullest potential as human beings. Cadence is seen to be impaired yet capable and in control. Unstable in balance yet persistent. The artist illustrates bodily impairment does not make a person less of a human being nor makes a person different. A life once taken or abnormal to be begin with is only lived differently, and pursuing excellence regardless of our imperfection makes us more human than it could ever be. Hence Cadence ' s consistency made her performance more human than it could ever be as she dances as if her limbs back.
