Ha ha...it's um...Funny you ask man...
I've been doing a lot of practice, but nothing post worthy, I think (Just full body studies really...)
But I honestly feel terrible...Do you remember the piece I started, and wanted to dedicate to you? (And another friend here). Well...I was using a mouse for that, and now I have my tablet (a Wacom Bamboo Fun) and I use a completely different method...So I guess to make a long story short...I don't know how to move forward with it

I dont really care honestly, i guess its how the artist applies the technique and addapts it to flatter his certain style, ive seen plenty of artists i totaly adore use both ways of rendering their shadows, but i tend mostly towards smooth with a hint of hard edged strokes, so its kind of a mix, Caravagio's is a perfect example, hard edges where its needed and soft ones where they belong i guess im like that xD sorry for the lenthy response!

I like lengthy responses. You're right about that. Different styles have their different places. One isn't necessary better than the other.
