I read a novel by HP Lovecraft and got really inspired to paint this one.If you figure out which one it was i will teach you my secret handshake.

I really enjoyed this one. But I agree on the "star shines". Think the picture would have been even better with a more "painterly" look. (and yes I'm not even sure thats a real word)

I see your points, but i don't really agree. I had a very specific idea with this picture, The old violin player and the reality he is a part of is clashing with the reality you see on the other side of the wall. Hence he is in scared shitless.

the man...the wall... and the window...everything goes perfect but...nope! these star shines never fits! It's too photoshopical for this painting.
