Now that's poetry.

About time too.
Good use of textures. The little shadow of the birds gives a collage like feel to it.

The three quarters

Still some light left, yes. Still hope for a better season.

I find that skulls are more scary with the flesh still on them.
Love the cardstock birds on a scratchy warm sky.
hm... my brain tickles>
White seabird profiles
pasted on a painted sky
If they are two-dimensional
what am I?
---------
Skulls underground
crumble and become
bone meal
Well-rooted dandelions
grow into the sky
drift around the world on changing wind

Why, thank you! I love it when a visual causes a writer to wax poetic! Bone meal... that's just great.

Yummy stuff.
You're welcome. Though being the selfish git that I am, I was doing it for me. To stop the tickle or itch or whatever it was.

Well laid out. Love the bird silhouette idea and scratchy sunset background.

Lovely! I like the skulls, really I do, but, the only real place I've seen them that abundantly is those underground walls of them in Paris. They are really cool, but, walking through fields and woods I see them eventually soften and pretty much turn into mulch! Which is pretty cool actually!

Thanks! I used them here more as a symbol than any attempt at realism, but the ones in Paris definitely were in the back of my mind.

You're welcome. After my initial response I was looking at Spring a little more closely and was seeing that some of the ones toward the open ground look as though they were fading out. So I think you have the whole concept there. I have to appoligize for that. I seem to have a slight but annoying headache behind my eyes.
My brother in law took several pages of photographs from the crypts under Paris. There is acutally an "underground" sort of sect of people over there that can get into the condemned abandoned parts that the government would like to put a stop too. It really took my intrest over for a short time.
Take care man!

I like the way you represent the giving way of winter and death to spring and life, Ron. Excellent work!
