I've been meaning to try and learn AS3 a bit more seriously for a while now, and wanted to pick a character for a quick little animation to help me internalise the basics. As a master of the language, 's female counterpart seemed like a good fit (I imagine she knows it pretty well too).I'm not certain how much I learned, as a lot of my attempts to emulate what I'd usually use, failed. At the very least the way I use Objects hasn't changed much. Mostly it's having to define listeners for everything that's throwing me off. Still, I think I managed to make a fun little game in a short space of time. I hope you all enjoy it.
As for those wondering about my next game. It's pretty close to done. Just gotta add a little hand movement, and make her expressions. Problem is, there's quite a few lines this time around.

Took me a while to get around to this one but I'd say it turned out pretty interesting. Her being stuck in a floating pose kinda makes it a bit different than some of the other expansions, and the method for causing the expansion takes a bit of timing and practice to get right.
Not really sure what's with the numbers theme, but then again I was always terrible at programming anyway. I like how the expansion includes breasts, belly, hips, butt. Though I think it could have benefited from some vertical thigh expansion, especially in the larger growth stages as her curves start to overtake her legs and make them look a bit thin/odd.
Based on your description though this was meant to just be a quick expansion animation, and for that it was pretty entertaining. Definitely looking forward to your next major flash. I'm sure it will be awesome.

Yeah, I tried just having her float there, but I found that it made her looks static. It really makes her look more alive, wouldn't you say?
Once you've got some practice though, not that hard at all though, right?
Numbers? Well, yeah, pretty much everything good in coding revolves around numbers. Vertical thigh expansion, eh? That's something i'll have to try and take more seriously.

I'd say because she's in the air it allows for some interesting and unique posing; I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more characters in the kinda situation where they can be posed more interestingly (under water, floating in the air, zero g, etc).
Indeed, though I've never been good at programming. I hope you consider it as its really the only expanding part you don't yet have, if done well it makes it as though their entire body naturally enlarges to accommodate the new curves, and I always thought that made it much more alluring, balance is key though. Too much, even when done well on all fronts and you eventually get the "small head/arms" problem.
