taken at early morning some years ago I almost ran into this huge spiderweb (which was about at the height of my face
) ... but I was glad I found it. 
barnsPS: cleaning up my gallery, I made the image smaller & changed the frame.

Das mit dem licht hast du super hingekrieg hast du das nachbearbeitet oder hattest du ne blitzanlage mit ?
Das passt halt alles die Form die Farbe sieht aus wie in der Nacht bei mondenschein! Dann noch der Tau auf dem Spinnennetz !!

amazingly beautiful and yet a bit scary too... it looks like the most perfect thing and you have captured it really wel.. sometimes you can see beauty just about everywhere if all of us would open our eyes and see the things around the way YOU do. wonderful job barnsness

i am actually quite stunned by this. the power of nature, eh? i find it incredible how the smallest creatures can constuct something with such use and power. i love the way the ends of the twigs are bent inwards and how they are coated with silk. i am truly lost for words

One thing I love about this is the way that the fragility of the web is show so well,and that yet it is, or seems to be, pulling the twigs inwards - the power of the smallest and most insignificant things always amazes me!

barnsie, that is such a great shot!! the background, and the modest appearance it makes is well fit into it, and the colors give it the atmosphere i connote with a spiders net.. there are few other "construction workers" that are so good without an education. its admirable!
