Description
HiThis is one of the first Artwork of Deus Ex III being revealed (sorry in French). I can't say a lot about it (or I'll die) except that the level artists have done an incredible job so far and it looks better than the painting. The game is on the right track and it'll be a great experience... can't even wait to play it.
We'll post more art later.

as soon as i saw this my faith in the next installment grew, a lot.
now i can't wait to see if styling of the gritty, grounded urban locations of the original game will return for the outdoor locations of this one

i hope # "3" goes back to the original. invisible war is okay. . .playing through it now but it definitely was dumbed down for the consoles and lost a lot of the DE feel. especially the augmentation and weapons system.
still love the story though. . .

Thanks again everyone! For this image I used a rough 3D model made by our level designers, I modified it in Maya after having designed the different elements separately (table, modules...etc.) . I made a basic lighting (radiosity and shadows), then I painted over the renderings in Photoshop, pretty much the same pipeline I've shown in my DVD. Hopefully I'll be able to show the step-by-steps sometime.
It really depends on what we have to do every week, I had enough time to play with 3D for this image but most of the time I go directly in 2D.
