Iron Revv was a resident of Kaon before Orion Pax became Optimus Prime. Back then, his name was Pantry, not because he stored energon packs, but because two half spark eaters relied on him for energon. When the Deceptions revolution started, Pantry wasted no effort to join their cause, but his world changed when the war started. During his first energon run mission, he was spotted by an Autobot guard. Panickingly, Pantry killed said guard before getting a panic attack. He was later caught by other guards. After Pantry came back to reality, he was already in a nearby prison. During his interrogation, he saw a reflection of his Deception symbol and went back to panicking while repeating the 5 sorry." After some time in his cell, a blue and green guard starts talking to him about what happened and his circumstances. Eventually after hanging out with this guard for some time, Pantry gets over his PTSD and joins the Autobots. After joining, the guard reveals his name to be Ironhide but elaborates that he's not the same Ironhide from Optimus Prime's main forces. Ironhide then tells Pantry that his name doesn't support his new purpose and renames him Iron Revv. This is where Iron Revv's story and rivalry with his former half spark eater friends starts
