Description
Cold winter night, on every 15th day of Chinese New Year, Taiwanese celebrate the day by sending thousands of lanterns (1 meter tall) into the sky. On each lantern, people write their new-year wishes before lighting up fire at the bottom. The paper-made lantern will then be heated like a hot balloon. As it getting lighter than the air, it turns into a messenger to God flying all the way up till you no longer sure if it's the lantern you released or it's the star.Captured the poetic moments at the valley of Ping Shi, the little village surrounded by mountains (also see from the other 3 pics).
