"Dragon of Toruń
On August 13, 1746 foreman of carpentry Johann Georg Hieronimi and Katharina Storchin, a soldier's wife, testified in the municipal clerk in Torun, that in the spring of 1746 they saw a dragon. The monster was able fo tly and swim, had 2 meters in length, its head and the whole body were dark grey, the tale was pale brown and shiny. Flying dragon (draco volans) appeared near Struga Toruńska, in the region of Przedzamcze, and flew to Teutonic castle ruins."
