Thank you! I usually work by just laying down some flat colors with a multiply layer over top for shadows. Seomthing like a de-saturated red or purple (to give it a little more depth than just grey). The sometimes I will go over my linework with some color on the inside smaller detail lines, so it's not so uniformly dark. Still gettin' the hang of that one, though. It's a new trick I picked up haha. After all that I generally lay a soft light color layer to kind of unify the whole piece. Hope this makes any sense at all!

DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD So cute. The fruit-sticker thing is a nice idea, and I certainly can't make out enough detail on the thing to dispute it, but I always thought it was something like Chell's old design, with the ugly teal jumpsuit, where she had a bunch of tags on her that could be read by machines, like a bar code. Basically I thought the "sticker" might be some form of ID for Wheatley (I think I can actually see the number 4 on it, and I can't tell, but it could be either holographic, or just scratched-up as fuck, possibly both).

Also, the other cores have the exact same "sticker" in the exact same place. [link] [link] [link] but that might be because they're just reskins of Wheatley.
