The circle is storing magic or energy...Is it like how magic is stored in tattoos? Or is this an unknown type of magic never seen before by humans?
Looks like they're getting back into Origin! I can't wait to see them navigate through it again and see how they learn from their mistakes!

A spider in my room wouldn't allow me to read this at all last night, so I had to go into the living room before I slept on the couch to read it on my phone. -Which deliberately stays logged off because otherwise it bugs out my computer when I'm on DA from there. x'D I had to make it my mission to come back and comment all these hours later. -3- ANYWAYS- ONTO MY ACTUAL THOUGHTS!!!
I LOVE Hana's hair when she's casting, it looks so badass, and I also adore how you can combine spells! I mean, logically it makes sense that heat and water makes fog (Duh) but it makes me wonder how many other combinations there are. ;3; As well as what can be done with them in the future plotline.~ They're also going back there way faster than I thought they would, oofโฆ Kind of surprised Hana didn't say something like, "Don't die again", lol. We shall see where this goes...

Thought it was awesome looking, if I'm honest, I love how magic looks in this book! I love also the detail into her arm, like sometimes it looks whole, other times it looks transparent in places.

I actually didn't realize the similarity to a battery, and assumed it was a way of measuring how many 'lives' Steve had. I can see it very clearly now, though, and am definitely keeping it in mind.
On another note, magic usage is so pretty in this comic! I especially love the little detail of how Cassandra's freckles glow too, all the different runes for the different types of spells, and the fact that they used a Heat and a Water spell to create fog, instead of just using a fog spell- it's a super neat detail, and a clever in-story tactic as well.
Still... there's no way things will go smoothly, with the way the General is even more on guard, especially with last page's panel of the blond duo realizing that Steve isn't quite dead.

The magic in this world is literally my favorite thing! I love all the symbols and how they combine to make new ones!
Also, Hana looks AWESOME!
