Those shadows beneath his eyes...
I think that's what hit me most between both panel with Vile from the side.
The one with the axe and the one in the cell. He's got those effing deep shadows... haunted look.

Though that's not much answer... probably not enough for that poor man.

The guards that were with Keshin probably just had a heart-attack... poor them.

I suppose that when "He" said to guess, he was telling Vile to guess who needed to be killed in order to unlock the power in the ax. Perhaps that's what he meant. Which would also be why Vile killed all those people, because they all fit the description of who needed to be killed for the power to unlock, and he couldn't figure out who it was until he killed Midas's nephew.

I can already imagine the officer and general's faces when they see Vile just teleport right in front of them. Kesh about to start speaking then *poof* Surprise!!

But those tears though, so it does show that he regretted what he's done to the people of that city. But just couldnt bring himself to explain himself and everything that happened,yet.

The fact that Vile shed tears gives more insight into what happened with the massacre. It's unfortunate that this will probably never be fully discussed between Vile and the king, but... perhaps, one day, they can talk in length.

I can see why it's the axe's fault, those things are sooo twisted. The king should trust him. Vile didn't mean any harm.
