That is so stupid, you didn't make anything.
You took someone else drawing without their permission and made a base out of it.
It's the same as art theft.

People don't learn from using bases. You need to practice on your own, tracing and using bases teaches you nothing.
Draw from life and use references rather than stealing and copying others work.

isn't art theft taking someone's photo exactly as it is and saying its your own? This just gives other people a chance to be proud of themselves for once. I'm against Art Theft too, but perhaps you should look at this in a different way. This is just a way for people to gain confidence in yourself, by making an adaptation of something using their own skill and imagination. Famous artists do it too.

It is still art theft because this pose was ripped from someones original piece.
I am glad you are against art theft but perhaps you should look into it more as well as copy right laws to see what qualifies as theft.
Even here on dA someone can be reported for ripping a pose or composition of sorts from another deviants piece because it counts as theft.
Original bases are fine, bases that the deviant creates and posts for others to use to learn do not constitute as art theft in any way.
It's when you take another artist's piece and basically paint over it (which this person clearly did) to get the pose or what have you from the piece that counts as art theft.

You know what? I don't care what my bodies look like, I draw 'cause I all up and love drawing 'cause it's fun, not because I want to be the next Van Gough! And the bases help people learn how to hair 'nd stuff!

Well Van Goghs work are of a certain time and aesthetic but that is a story for another time.
I understand the love of drawing. Drawing is my life and what my carrier is based around however praticing is what got me to my current level.
No it may not be about being "famous" or anything but wanting to impove on ones work is human nature.
The human body is what you should be learning before things like hair and cloths or something you learn all together. Again, your anatomy will never improve if you use bases and using bases always ends up looking amatuerish as well as generally unpleasent. I am not trying to put you down but I am trying to explain that if you ever wish to improve bases are not really the way to go.
And then there is the fact that most bases are considered art theft for they are stolen from pieces without artists consent.
