Technically Rosalina is actually aware of the sentient slime thats emerging from the nearby pool and creeping onto her legs, she's just found out that although the slime is alive, it's also harmless and rather playful... She somewhat more fixated on what the terrible smell is compared to...
Eventually Rosalina find that the "shortcut" is and actual Shortcut to the Mansion where the party is at, although her shoes are now a bit slimy now, but it's nothing to worry about, it can clean of with ease...
