Well captured in the sad scene from the animated series. It's tearful how Martin understands, "I now realise that I loved her."
He realises that despite victory, it's as if he paid the worst price by losing his beloved Rose.

I read that book and am wanting to watch the show in fact i have read all of the redwall seiries i can get my hands on that art was so sad! I cried

I love the Redwall/Mattimeo/Matrin the Warrior TV series. After Simpsons and South Park, I think that it is probably the best animated show ever.
It is also the best thing to be based on a book other than the Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings.

O_O they have martin the warrior animted... grrr you must be over in europe Im guessing, Iv only heard of Redwall, and mattemeo being animated over here.
