RAH I LOVE THEM!

This is yet another long story, so settle down with your hot cocoa and reading glasses. This is the Sparrowsky family, consisting of two parents, Sparrowstar and Hollowsky, and their 3 kits Rookpaw, Geckopaw and Hailpaw.

Sparrowstar is a ThunderClan cat and Shadowstar’s brother. He has dusty brown fur with countless markings and heterochromia eyes. His mate, Hollowsky, is a cat of ShadowClan origins, and is a crème-coloured molly with various swirls over her fur and blue eyes. The pair had known each other since their apprentice days through Shadowstar. Hollowpaw and Shadowpaw had become fast friends, so introductions were a must at their first gathering after Shadowpaw ran away from ThunderClan. Instantly, Hollowpaw was enamoured by Sparrowpaw and his easygoing nature, and carried she carried a heavy crush on the tom into her early warrior days. One particular day while out hunting, the two ran into each other on the border. The got to talking, and an excitable Hollowsky would not stop. One thing led to another, and eventually the pair kindled a small, forbidden relationship and a soon-to-be family. Hollowsky blamed her pregnancy on a since passed warrior, which no one seemed to question when the kits were born. Hailkit, Rookkit and Geckokit, a trio that would become infamous in their clan.

The kits were a handful. Each was bursting with personality and energy, and mellowed out Hollowsky to become more responsible and mature.

Hailpaw is the mature one of the 3, having her head on straight most of the time and trying to keep her brothers on track. She has almost exactly the same appearance as her mother, coming down to a few splotches on her pelt. She finds out about their real father first and, because she holds a hatred towards ThunderClan, stops talking to her mother for almost 2 moons. She eventually falls in love with a RiverClan tom named Echopaw through a short alliance between their clans and forgives her mother, but is still quite rash and brazen through her moons.

Rookpaw was the adventurous one. As a kit, he was always sneaking out of the nursery, off to find his new adventure with his brother and sister in tow. He quickly becomes a capable apprentice his uncle, Oakfoot, and when he learns about his father, he becomes quite conflicted. Neither him nor his brother are quite as rash as Hailpaw, but the revelation hits them both hard.

Geckopaw, the last kit, is an amalgamation words could not describe and I love him for it. He’s the more sensitive one of the litter. He cries easy, is constantly tired or hungry, and only really does things because he likes spending time with his brother and sister. He’s the most supportive when it comes to the father revelation, keeping by Hollowsky’s side through the turmoil while she’s under stress from both her strained relationship with Sparrowstar and the threat from Shadowstar, who is constantly keeping an eye on her in case she makes any wrong moves.

I love this dysfunctional family so much they give me so much joy(especially to draw). They do all get their happy ending after the war, luckily, and none of them die which is always a plus.

Twin Stars is an ongoing roleplay based on the series ‘Warrior Cats’ by Erin Hunter. It follows two siblings, Sparrowstar and Shadowstar, and their family. Shadow and Sparrow are both born ThunderClan originally to their parents Smokecloud and Pinestar. They have siblings from another litter, whose names are Duskpaw, Robinpaw and Owlpaw. Shadowstar leaves ThunderClan as an apprentice with her mentor, Tigersoul, after a spar with her brother goes wrong and she feels that to protect her clan she must leave and start anew. In ShadowClan she meets her two best friends, Oakfoot and Hollowsky, and her mate Smokestrike. She becomes leader after the previous leader is killed by rogues, and not long after her father, back in ThunderClan, is killed by a fox. Her habit of jumping to conclusions and her paranoia slowly send her insane when her brother reports the death of their father and she wrongly accuses him, which sends the two clans into an all-out war. ThunderClan eventually wins this war, but not before Shadowstar has her own family in ShadowClan, loses every single marble she was born with and eventually throws herself off a cliff to atone for her mistakes.

This story is very near and dear to my soul, so I will do my best to make it as understandable as possible for everyone on here when I do post about it. Thank you to everyone who read this wall of text and still cares!
