As it was pointed out by others, we see new tec in gen 5 such as sleepers, seemingly. Could they possibly have smartphones? And even more important, would that make them....smartpones? It might look far-fetched from a FIM perspective, but keep in mind many modern cartoons feature these little devices meanwhile - ducktales, she-ra, steven universe - as well as modern animes, so it doesn't seem to be off the table.

So, what do you think, hope for or be afraid of?

For the drawing, I am quite satisfied with it. I took only like 20 minutes or a tad bit less, and given THIS (www.deviantart.com/basinator/a… ) took me many hours, I am more than happy with what I archived during that short time frame and expected less, TBH. It has surprisingly some charm. I think the eyes and mouth are cute in their own terms.
