I have thought about casting TWO characters from PIXAR for the title role of an Raccoon and an Turtle, then while re-watching the film since last week I can see Over The Hedge have similarity with characters like RJ is like Filk for both owning The Foods they accidentally lost all the foods to the villain if they don't give the foods till they return their dead. The other similarity with character Verne is so like Woody for being an leader to their family only then jealousy cloud them when an new person enter their family.

I'm sure you know that I AM casting Gru (Despicable Me) as an villain while he is an good guy, I already KNOW Gru is an an hero and join the good side. But I can still cast an reform Bad/Good character to play an role either an villain or an hero role in an spoof movie, and I'm follow what my pal Rascal Entertainments have told me about casting an reform character in an Hero or villain role.
