When I was drawing this picture I did something I should've been doing all along; I used photos as reference! I had trouble with the hair, so I looked up pics of people with short hair to get an idea of how it should look. I'd say I did a decent job.

I wanted to try using different colors for skin for awhile now, so for this one I tried yellow. Just to see how it'd look.
