Problem Solved
It sounds funny because the God debate is often portrayed as such a profound and insoluble riddle. But if you actually do Google it, you’ll find plenty of articles about untestable hypotheses, anecdotal evidence, Ockham’s Razor, and other useful info about how to evaluate claims, as well as info about evolution, cosmology, particle physics, and other relevant subjects. (I’ve even written a few myself.) Sure, you’ll also find websites like Answers in Genesis, but if you read everything that’s available, you’ll understand why it’s not called Correct Answers in Genesis.
So if anybody asks you why it’s irrational to believe in God, you can just tell them to Google it. And if they accuse you of naively oversimplifying a complex issue, just direct them here.

Beliving in G-d is irrational, and I've tried not to but it doesn't work for me. Google why marijuana should be legal.
However, I do agree with ~LoverandSynner, Christians who say THIS IS WRONG YOURE GOING TO HELL etc
have got the wrong idea: we're taught to be loving to everyone and NOT to shove religion down other peoples throats.
So I apologise if some people are doing that, it is not a official Christian practice- quite the opposite.

Well I don`t entirely believe in god, I mean, I think there must be something there, but it does`t really have anything to do with all the religions we`ve made up. And as far as the tragedies go, I think if he exists he won`t help us or hurt us, I don`t think he would really interfere or care considering there`s probably many other galaxies with many other planets and species. And if he doesn`t exist, it won`t make a difference in 'this life' so OMG LET IT BE.

If the knowledge of the existence of a god was self-evident, there would be nobody saying a god doesn't exist. Your logic doesn't make sense.
Also you're kidding, right? Atheists (like myself) put trust into things based on the evidence provided, not on faith. There is no evidence for your god, and there is no evidence against it, but atheists do not have the burden of proof.

Actually, Hell is the same for everyone. Also, it's not that anyone PUTS you there, you just have to go somewhere and you're not right for heaven at that point.

(Sorry, I randomly cut into this conversation two weeks after it ended, but eh.
At this point, it's helping no one to continue such a conversation. The simple solution is to wait and see what happens. Whatever we argue now won't matter once we're dead. Once we die, there are three things that might happen to any given person (what every group believes, compressed into a small list). One, you could just cease to exist. Two, you could burn forever without dying in Hell. Or, three, you could go to heaven. I like to go for the most positive option, but it's each person's choice what they believe and where they think they will go. In the end, even this speech won't matter, most likely, and what will happen will happen, regardless of whether or not a person had believed it would happen.
So, having said that, I bid you farewelll until the end, when I might see you...or not.
