I don't know if this comment will say everything I'm feeling, but as a fellow writer your story "Spellbound Fireflies" was written excellently. Telling the story of a filly who's caretakers just don't get her and can't mother her the way she needs. A romantic story of two mares who's personalities complement each other perfectly. A huge realization for the filly and big changes for everyone. The story was very realistic and really tugs at the heart strings. I could have a huge grin on my face, then be near tears in a split second. Last but not least, what I believe is the thing you did best was the character development. How the characters grew and changed throughout the story blew my mind. And that title drop, my heart shrunk, it really touched me. Your story is a classic and a big reason I love this fandom is the creativity and love we pour into this series. I hope to one day be as great of a storyteller as you.
