-If you like this drawing, check my gallery and my scrapbook. I'm drawing diagrams of the lions and their transformations.This came to me while I was trying to sleep yesterday.
A larger, more mature and complicated looking robot. As if it was 3 or 4 generations later, and Arus is becoming regal again and Voltron has been upgraded to a more royal design. Since it's been so invincible, and belongs to Arus, it would be like an emissary or herald to other systems. The smaller lion medallion in the chest could be the new royal warrant, created reflecting how an ancient lion robot saved Arus from Zarkon.
It's just me but I imagine this Voltron to be autonomous, recovering part of it's sentience from the beginning of the original GoLion series. I imagine that the black lion is elder, with a full mane, and each of the other lions has a unique face, based off of the many different faces of real lions.

I haven't utterly recreated what I imagined. It's too subtle. I'll probably mock it up in 3D and work some parts out.
(-My computer ate my original sketch so I had to redo it. This is just a color sketch and figuring out more details.)
Update: I've been busy, but I'm still working on this. I'm also thinking hard on going back to the original head.
