Donald sighed. "Really, Chuck. This joint's got to get new management, or something.""Dad," sighed Chuck. "Listen, I know you don't like it here, but –"
"Oh, no, Chuck, no worrying about me. I like this place well enough. How many other folks are lucky to live in a sports club? Even if it is badly managed. It's still a great place. And it's wonderful that I live close enough now that you and Susie can come visit me more often. It's all good here. No one else uses the pool, I have it all to myself. I go out on the track and walk with friends. I may be old, but these old bones still've something in 'em!" he cackled.
Chuck checked his watch. "Shit, I've gotta go, dad. I'll be a late for dinner."
"Go ahead, son. Thanks for coming by!"
"God, he's out of it," sputtered Chuck over his casserole. "Honestly – he thinks the retirement home is a badly-run sports club."
