Common name: Shimmering Worm
Diet: Herbivore
Habitat: Sediment of Tug
Though most Brachiostomes are known for their larger and heavier relatives, there are many that are small and slender in shape. The Shimmering Worm has very shiny and smooth skin. They dig through the soil of their home island. Their robust jaws help chew through plant roots and decaying plant matter but their mouth also help with the digging process. They hardly ever surface from underneath the soil which has made their small eyes practically useless. The only time they'll surface is to find mates. They'll making a daring journey to find others of their kind, identifying them by their shining skin.
