Despite all of Crescentmoon's faults, she is overtly protective of her family. She could honestly care less about the rest of her clan and the other clans, but if anyone chooses to mess with her family? Oh, you better watch out. As cliche as it sounds, she is truly the only one who is allowed to criticize her siblings and be rude to her parents. The only one. If she catches anyone else victimizing them, she will give you all fifteen pounds of her fury.

This she-cat is so young, yet she already has loads of confidence. She is gorgeous and she knows it. In everything she does, she is always confident that she can complete it with grace and perfection. This can often get her in trouble, as she is simply too inexperienced to do some things properly, despite how much she believes she can. Also, no matter what anyone has to say about her, she never allows herself to give in to mean comments. If anyone tells her she's spoiled or a snob, she simply agrees and moves on. Crescentmoon is an extremely intelligent cat. She can construct and deconstruct social situations and their consequences in her head as quickly as any adult could. She is also very logical and practical, and uses this logical process to belittle and make others look stupid. She likes to lord this intelligence over others and has no mercy when it comes to blind stupidity, especially if it comes from her siblings. After all, if they sound dumb, then people will think she sounds dumb!

Crescentmoon is very prideful and this can sometimes cloud her reasoning. Being born to the leader of AsterClan and the strongest deputy of the clan has given this towering she-cat a fire in her heart. Crescentmoon honestly believes she is the best fighter AsterClan has ever seen, and gets extremely offended when others tell her otherwise. She honestly is in reality, very good at fighting and is ranked extremely high up in that aspect. But she is yet inexperienced, and thus at a disadvantage. Crescentmoon is also proud of her apparent striking beauty and enchaning visage, which she uses to her advantage.

As central to her character as being beautiful is, Crescentmoon's sassiness is unrivaled. It is believed that she learned it from Comettail, although he has never displayed this aspect of himself in front of his children. Crescentmoon is no stranger to sassing her mom when she is commanded to do something or back sass her dad when he tells her to go back to perform an unsavory duty. She's going to rule the clan one day, she doesn't need to be told what to do. Duh.

Crescentmoon is a cat who depends on her looks to garner favor with others, so she has learned to judge others based on their looks as well. Crescentmoon will judge you based on the state of your fur, how clean your teeth are, your scent, the way you speak, anything at all is fair game to this she-cat. If anything is dis-satisfactory, she will not hesitate to point it out and tear that cat down.

Hand in hand with her judgmental aspect, Crescentmoon can be a bit of a snob. She insists on keeping her pelt as pristine as possible, with no dirt on it and not a single hair out of place. |Before Birth|
Comettail and Solsticestar were meant to be--all of the clan could see that they were destined to be mates, except for the two themselves. It took a while, but the two finally got together, overcoming a few rocky patches before finally settling in. Unfortunately, Solsticestar's pregnancy came at an terrible time, where Comettail had become the target of a rogue group's vicious leader. The leader sought revenge on Comettail, going after his vulnerable pregnant mate in order to cause him the utmost pain and suffering. Luckily, Solsticestar and the kits lived to go through the kitting, but Solsticestar ended up losing a life from the stress of her wounds and kitting such large Savannah mixed children.

|Kithood|
Crescentkit was born to a loving and devoted family as the first-born. She, as the eldest, feels that she deserves the most respect and adoration from the litter. Her beauty has only contributed to this feeling, and she has learned to use her looks to her advantage, even at this young age. She is a master manipulator and will usually get out of doing nasty things by using her sharp and quick wit. Only time will tell if she will grow out of these qualities.

|Apprenticeship|
Crescentkit graduated to Crescentpaw upon her sixth moon with the rest of her siblings. She was appointed to a she-cat who she had picked out in her kithood, a prim, pretty, and sharp warrior named Yewstep. Crescentpaw couldn't be more pleased at the selection, glad that her claim to Yewstep as a kit had come to fruition. Though, even as an apprentice, Crescentpaw looked down upon Solsticestar's choice to pair up timid Eclipsepaw with the equally cowardly Meadowleap. Crescentpaw thought it was a horrid match-up, and that Eclipsepaw would learn nothing of the true nature of the warrior code or of battle training. But she kept this information to herself throughout her apprenticeship, eventually catching the eye of a young and dashing 'paw named Magpiepaw. The two dated for a while, but Crescentpaw proved to be too wild-spirited and dominating for the sweet-hearted tom and they soon broke it off mutually. They remain on good terms to this day, with Magpie seeking out Crescentpaw's siblings for his next flirtationship. Near the last moon of Crescentpaw's apprenticeship, an older warrior named Mintflower approached her and the two got to talking. Crescentpaw found a kinship in the warrior that she hadn't felt with anyone before, and her recent isolation from her family drove her to be a bit more accepting of new friendships. So she started to think of the other warrior as a friend rather than a rival or acquaintance, though whether this is a good or bad thing has yet to be seen.

Crescentpaw graduated to Crescentmoon with all of her siblings but one: Sunpaw. When Crescentmoon found out that her younger sibling had run away from the clan, she was furious. Her fury only grew when she found out her dunces of parents were going to actually go after her--it was completely idiotic. If Sunpaw wanted to be gone, then let her be a brat and be gone. It was her own fault for being unhappy, if all their siblings could manage to find joy in the midst of being in a litter of five, then it was Sunpaw's own undoing if she couldn't do it for herself. Crescentmoon lives in a slow stew of rage as these events unfold, growing ever closer to Mintflower and separating herself from her so-called "family".
