Slightly confused here... why is Gaara wearing a fur coat in the desert during the day? I can understand at night... it gets cold in the desert at night. But during the day? He'd be boiling!

Great image. I know it's not steampunk, but I got that feel the first time I looked at it. Claws, boots, belts-- everything about it is fab.

It is a cool looking design but kind of takes away from his personality. He doesn't have that crazy look that he's famous for and he doesn't look like someone from the desert. He looks more from the artic.

Whoa! Very cool redesign, here! It reminds me of some of the really great re-designs from King of Fighters 2006 (Maximum Impact II). It captures his attitude very well, modernizes it, but it doesn't lose his dark aura. He still comes across as a sociopath who happens to be pretty, as opposed to a "pretty boy" type.
