Description
It didn't really take that long to get to their new home. When they got their Crystal gazed up at the warehouse they had bought. A soft, yet sad smile was seen from her hood as the girl looked around.Their warehouse was near the edge of the city yet still walking distance towards the places they needed like the market or the harbor for Crystal's sake.
"Ah you must be Jessica Bon." said a man who was near the entrance.
Crystal tensed up and instinctively took a step behind Jess while said girl stepped between the man and her cousin, her eyes clearly seen as cold and suspicious of the man.
"I'm Tom Barmer, the man who you bought this place from?" he reminded the red head, "I didn't suspect that the buy of this place would be so young an-"
"Well it's always wrong to assume things isn't it?" Jess asked, interrupting the man and giving him a sweet smile, "I'm sure we agreed to keep this deal on the down low meaning you get your extra if you keep your mouth shut of us being younger."
"Besides," Crystal spoke for the first time, "we're at a mature age to be on our own."
The man looked over at Crystal with curious eyes but immediately snapped his attention back towards Jess whom growled a warning at him.
Her hand was outstretched and he instantly got the hint.
"Oh of coarse." he said, reaching into his coat and producing the keys to the warehouse.
"It's all yours." he said, dropping into her waiting palm.
"Merci." she said before her free hand slipped into her pocket, her cigarette held firmly between her teeth, before she pulled out a fair amount of cash, "As agreed. I always keep to my word."
"Pleasure doing business with you miss Bon." he said, pocketing the money.
All she did was grunt before exhaling the smoke, forming a ring of smoke as she watched him leave.
Once they were sure he was gone Jess turned towards her quiet cousin.
"You wanna do the honors? " she asked, dangling the keys.
Once again Crystal smiled softly and nodded her head before she took the keys.
"Welcome to our new home." she whispered more to herself when she swung open the doors.
Their footsteps echoed in the empty warehouse as they walked in, already knowing that the first floor would be barren while the second and third would be their living quarters.
"The furniture should be there already right?" Crystal asked Jess, tilting her head towards her.
"Should be." was all she replied, dropping the cigarette and stepping on it before they went to the lift.
The petite redhead had no trouble opening and shifting the doors for the elevator meant to hold large and heavy items as her cousin remained silent in the corner.
Thankfully they had already paid the required amount of money to make their new home available for someone to live in so the electricity and plumbing were already taken cared of, along with the remodeling.
Jess had taken a great amount of time and money into this place and to make sure that no one knew of their whereabouts.
Their home was grand ( <www.polyvore.com/m/set?.embedd… >

"Jess..." Crystal breathed as she looked around, "this is...this is amazing...."
Slowly Crystal walked around their home, finally stopping at the windows.
"You can see Sumdac Towers from here." Jess said warmly as she stood by her to admire the view.
After a few moments of silence the red head turned towards the hooded girl next to her.
"So?" she asked, pulling down the hood to reveal a girl with raven hair that had bangs that covered her forehead, "What do you think?"
Crystal turned towards Jess to reveal bright blue eyes that would make the sky scream with envy staring back at her.
"Something tells me that this place is good for us." she admitted softly.
Nothing else was said as the two went back to staring into the city, watching it shift from evening to night as the lights suddenly made the city seem even more alive than ever.
And though the sky remained dark and empty of stars, the ground below it was a sight to behold.
