Description Crystal took a deep breath as she once again steppe into Sumdac Towers. Ever since they moved here she had been persistent in working there, even if it were to be just an intern.
The robotic secretary simply glanced up and instantly identified her from the previous days before. Crystal could only assume that it was due to the one security footage the building had of her entering everyday for two weeks straight along with somewhere in it's processor that every time she would try to make an appointment.
"What can I do for ya hun?" the robot asked, the accent amusing to the girl at first but now it confused her on why would a robot need an accent.
"I would like to make an appointment with Dr. Sumdac please." Crystal said softly before she suddenly waved around like trying to swat an invisible for away from her ear.
An uncomfortable expression flashed onto her face for only a moment before she looked back at the robot who stared at her.
"Name please." it said.
"Crystal," the raven haired girl said softly, "Crystal Hun."
It only took few short moments for the robot to type in a few things.
And by now she was already expecting the standard answer of how Mr. Sumdac was not available and that she would have to come again another time.
Imagine her surprise when the robot gave her something different.
"Ah Dr. Sumdac informed me to send you to his office once you got here." it said, "Just take the elevator to the top floor and turn left. Once you do that, just keep walking until years you reach the door at the end of the hall."
Crystal stared at the robot secretary in shock before she registered what she had been told.
"Grazie." she breathed before she went over to the elevator in a daze, pressing the correct button once inside.
It was only until the sound of the elevator doors closing was what got her to snap out of it. Upon blinking out of her daze, Crystal looked down at her appearance, more than a bit uneasy. (Her appearance: www.polyvore.com/m/set?.embedd… )
Before she could doubt herself even more, the elevator stopped at her floor.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped out and followed the directions given to her.
Once standing before the door, she took a deep breath before knocking.
"Come in." said a male voice from the other side.
Nervously, the young raven haired girl entered the room to reveal a middle eastern man with black hair that seemed to defy gravity and a white stripe in it.
"H-hello." she said softly as she walked over to his desk, "My name is-"
"Crystal Hun." he finished, giving her a warm smile that surprisingly soothed her nerves, "Yes I was told you came everyday for two weeks straight to talk to me."
He motioned her to sit down which she did with no hesitation at all, worried that her knees would buckle under her any moment.
"So tell me Miss Hun," he said, crossing his arms and making like a triangle with his hands on the desk, "What was so important for you to do that?"
Crystal looked down ad fiddled her fingers.
"Well," she said softly, "I was hoping to work her."
"And if not I could intern here!" she quickly added before continuing, "I always loved working with electronics. And I'm really good with the technical part as well."
She looked up at him with sad yet hopeful eyes.
He simply studied her for a few moments, before sighing with defeat, a fond smile on his face appeared.
"I don't see why not." he said finally.
She stared at him, shocked, "You mean...?"
Chuckling softly he nodded his head.
"Yes you got the job as an intern here. It will be difficult to build up your position but the experience will be worth it." he said, "But I must ask you if you could do one thing for me."
"Anything sir." she breathed, a smile on her face.
"I would need you to keep my daughter Sari in check." he sighed sheepishly.
Crystal beamed at him.
"I don't mind sir." she said, "I'm good with children."
He seemed to relax upon hearing this.
"Well I don't see why not." he chuckled, "I would like for you to come here tomorrow the same time to fill in the proper paperwork."
