Every director has to start somewhere, right? For Don Bluth and seventeen others, it was a garage. Yep, that was the first studio for Mr. Bluth. Yet, that did nothing to stop him and his team. Their first project, even before The Secret of Nimh, was a short film called "Banjo: The Woodpile Cat." It was originally suppose to a feature length, but for whatever reasons it was shortened. Nonetheless, from the stills I've seen, it looks like it has Mr. Bluth's signature style and that's all that counts here.

So, the subject of this drawing is obviously the main character of Banjo. A kitten who is swept away by big city life but soon returns to his loving family.
