Description
Franchise: Shantae (WayForward)These are the minions that Captain Sea Claws has as his pirate crew. Like what happened with Sea Claws, they were affected by the curse from the treasure that Sea Claws obtained causing them to undergo a huge mutation, combining them with the oceanic life around them.
Skullbats
The skullbats are group of skeletal minions that act similar to Risky’s tinkerbats. However, these minions al a bit taller and can attack Shantae in different methods. They will attack her by using their sword arms by attempting to hack and slash her, or by throwing bones at her. When Shantae defeats them, they have a short amount of time to rebuild themselves and continue attacking Shantae.
Crab Cannon
These enemies will scuttle across the field from left to right. When they have Shantae in their sights, they will attempt to blaster away with their large cannon arm. While Shantae can deflect their cannon balls with her hair whip, they won’t directly damage them due to their hard indestructible shells. Shantae can attack them with her animal transformations or by using Risky’s pirate equipment.
Crabette
These enemies are part tinkerbat and part crab where they will attack Shantae with their large crab claw and rob her of her items. Once they rob her, they will attempt to run faster than a speeding hedgehog away from Shantae. Shantae will have to chase them down to regain her stolen items and gain their other robbed possessions. If Shantae fails to catch them, they will use a smoke bomb and, with a puff of smoke, will disappear from the area along with the items they have stolen from Shantae.
Splinter Claws
These enemies will disguise themselves has an ordinary barrel. When Shantae has her back turned, they will attempt to attack and rob her of her items. Similar to the crabettes, they will run from her at high speeds and will disappear if Shantae fails to catch them. Shantae can attack them by jumping on them where, not only where they die, but they will also drop a lot of money and items for Shante to collect. The only way to identify the Splinter claws from a real barrel, is to see if the barrel slightly shakes if Shantae is from a moderate distance from them.
