While the grunts of Team Flare may have been a bit goofy and ridiculous, Lysandre is by far my new favorite villain from the Pokémon series. So serious and passionate, just like a villain should be. ;w;
(He's the first "bad guy" in a Pokémon game i've ever actually felt bad about beating.) ;-;

I really like this badass portrayal of Lysandre and his Mega Gyarados ^^ Lyandre is such a sad example of ridiculous storytelling, it's clear that Game Freak wanted to portray him as a serious, badass, authoritative figure, which I would love to do, but it's impossible to take him seriously because Team Flare's purpose is just that ridiculous.
